Fort Ontario regrets that it has to cancel the Oct. 2011 Ghost Tours.  The Fort will under go a major restoration project starting Oct. 17Th. Reopening in 2012.

Description*:	CNY's Premier Historic Ghost Tour! Costumed Interpretation, Special Effects, Refreshments and More.. A new event featuring paranormal presentations showing results from several years of investigations, as well as, interactive ghost hunting will be offered at Fort Ontario State Historic Site in Oswego.  Ghost investigators, Fort staff, and Friends of Fort Ontario volunteers will conduct guided ghost tours.  Electronic voice phenomena (EVP), images and stories will be featured.  Tour participants will listen to actual recordings caught at specific locations throughout the Fort and will help gather and interpret new evidence during the guided ghost tours. Co-sponsored by the Friends of Fort Ontario & NYS Parks.
