Big improvement each season especially this year head and shoulders above any thing else we have seen in the area.

Went and had planned on doing just the village because of my six year old - but it really sucked. Magic show was okay but was only like 20 mins and there really was no bonfire - went to where the ghost stories were suppose to be and nothing was going on.....COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED....so ended up having to go back out and upgrade our ticket for another attraction - which was okay...but have seen much better....so if you plan on going - plan on more than the village alone.....we will be going somewhere else next year!!!

The ghost story fire pit is performed starting every hour starting at 7:30 I believe, along with a very funny magic show and the Devil show (3 stages). The Hell Fire Halloween Disco starts at 7pm and runs opposite the 3 stage shows and professional interactive street scare-actors all part of the Village of the Damed-just $7 if you want to upgrade there are 3 other attractions with different packages available A good idea might be to ask security or management next time the schedule for the shows.

Not impressed or happy with experience. Went this past saturday 10/16/10. Waited in line an hour and 45 minutes to get on haunted hayride. shortly into the ride, maybe 20 minutes, our wagon seperated from our tractor, going down hill. We picked up enough speed to pass our tractor, who had no clue we had come loose. We continued down hill side swiping apple trees until we finally hit a tree at the bottom of the hill that stopped us before we went any further. They did get help there quickly, but everything after that was terrible. Some had minor bumps and bruises from tree limbs hitting them or getting banged/bounced when we hit the final tree. The staff at the office was rude and uncaring, trying to do anything so they did not have to refund money. I will not be returning!

I checked the website for directions and hours and pricing then drove all the way out there ( I live in Camillus ) its about fourty miles one way , I get there to find out it's CLOSED ! the gates were shut and a sign saying " oh yeah sorry we r closed tonight but don't worry we will be open again tomorrow " like i jus live around the corner or somthing WTF! that was a big kick in the butt ! VERY DISSAPOINTED ! I really wanted to go and i get home and checked the website again to see if maybe we got there too late or somthin , nope and oh yeah they finally updated the site to say they were closed 10/22/10 AWESOME WASTE OF GAS/TIME !

The management would be glad to to provide Spooky Special passes to you for your inconvenience. Please call us at 315-947-5782 and ask for Lisa. The closed due to weather was made and posted before 5 pm and phones answered 4:30 pm to 7 pm as well as a recorded message after 7 pm in an effort to mitigate. We are very sorry, to manage this miscalculation the owner passed out more than 300 hundred of these passes last night to others last night in the same boat we hope this will help make up for us jumping the gun. Sorry again the management.

Me and my 10-year-old went to Screamers Hollow on Saturday October 23rd. It was a good time but vulgar witches on the hayride and a few workers who reeked of marijuana and cigarettes makes this place inapropriate for most children. It is also the most expensive we have been to and not a dime of it goes to a good cause!

i was at Screamers Hollow on saturday the 23rd and i have to say i was very dissapointed.i just want the people who run it, to know that you are a complete rip off...35 for one person, and you arnt even that good. you should at least lower your prices or give the people their money's worth..you also need to ask the golfcarts to stop driving by the wagons because that ruins it...you need alot more inprovment to do before you charge a 35 dollar fee..who knows maybe the owner is cheap...thats alll

We went the last night it was open. Most of the actors on the walk were very unenthusiastic and bored looking. Some didnt even attempt to scare us. At one point we walked by a little hut that someone should have jumped out of so my boyfriend tapped on it and what do you know, someone finally jumped out. Thats pretty bad if you ask me. Then a young girl that was supposed to be scaring us simply told us that none of the things in her area worked and they would have been scary had they been functioning. The big ending on the haunted trail was supposed to be the chainsaw and the actor stayed kneeling in his spot on the ground and ignored us as we walked past and waited to scare the next group. The hayride had some good parts but was mostly just a dark ride. At the end the guide asked everyone how it was and the response was silence. She told us that it would have been a lot better but a bunch of the actors were missing from their spots. Extremely unprofessional and dissappointing. Especially after driving and hour and spending $140 for our group.

Screamers hollow is the worst haunted attraction I've ever been to. terrible in every way. I cannot imagine how it could be worse. I wouldn't go again if it was free. That's pretty bad. An hour away, expensive as hell, not scary. If you like to feel like you've been kicked in the balls and robbed, go there!

dont go. waste of money, waste of drive, waste of time. i dont even know if they are open this year anyway. would not be one bit surprised if they closed shop the reviews were so darn bad.

Went last night bought the Bloody Bundle package for 35 dollars. We did the hayride and nearly every single actor smelled like pot and alcohol. The actors were not scary and seemed to be hating what they were doing and were unenthusiastic to say the least. It was so bad that everybody that was in my group six of us wanted to leave. I wanted to at least stay and see the rest, hell it couldn't have been any worse than the hayride but since I rode out there with the group I had no choice but to leave.

I'll say this for them. Last year (2010) was somewhat dissapointing because of the long lines and poor crowd control. The night seemed to take forever. I was there for over 4 hours for the three main attractions and never got to saee any of the shows. This year, they have a much better crowd control system in place involving preassigned line times. This way, you can go and enjoy a show or snack before beginning your haunted tour. The lines moved swiftly and I was done with all three attractions in about 1-1/2 hours. The walk-through and hayride could have both used a lot more actors. I didn't smell the "pot & booze" that other commentators claim to experienced and I'm generally very sensitive to those odors. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Screamer's Hollow this year.

Went and was disappointed. I do have to say that walking in, it was pretty scary. However, the hayride was NOT scary whatsoever! I feel as if we wasted our money. The actors didn't really seem to do their job. It was mainly a bunch of props. Maybe it was just an off nite, but I wasn't impressed. I tend to scare pretty easily, so I was somewhat disappointed. Sorry we wasted our time :(

Most hay rides are not scary other than a few surprises they are usually more entertainment value not as much shock value. Although screamers hollow has a nice long hay ride and the stereo sound systems and sound and light effects are awesome. The haunted trail was very scary and the asylum maze was INSANE ! I agree the stage shows were excellent and that whole fire lit village thing is very cool We had a great time short wait, times, good food, 3-4 hours of fun we would recommend it highly.
